Control of the bike is absolutely essential. And if you're riding on the road or gravel, that goes double. In the following article, you'll learn more about the different variations of wraps from Italian manufacturer fi'zi:k.

The fi'zi:k collection of bartapes offers a variety of material options to enhance comfort and control, providing the grip you need for your particular style of cycling while reducing unwanted vibration that can lead to hand fatigue. fi'zi:k offers road and gravel bartapes in various colours, surface types and thicknesses to satisfy the personal preferences of almost every rider. If you're looking for racing bartapes for ultimate control and lightweight, the Vento range made from Microtex material is the thinnest option. The bartape comes in original or "sticky" designs for maximum grip with a raised texture promising a secure grip in wet and dry conditions. The bartape is also a key expression of the rider's style, so our bartapes come in various colours and patterns. From neon to two-tone bartapes in fluorescent and traditional colours. Tempo range bartapes offer top quality at a competitive price. You can choose from three finishes: 'soft touch' for a matt look, 'silky' to absorb moisture, 'tacky' for better grip and control and 'original' which is smooth and supple. Technologies include Bondcush, a layered polymer foam in the middle of the padding that helps absorb road shock. This blend of materials, combined with the Microtex outer layer, is the thickest option that combines comfort, durability and versatility and is ideal for all types of riding and roads.

Fizik produces its bartapes in three different finishes. True road riders, gravelists and beginners looking for maximum comfort will all find their feet.

Tacky

This coating is available in 2 mm, 2.7 mm and 3 mm thicknesses. It provides an absolutely superior grip in all conditions and is particularly suitable for performance-oriented cyclists.

Classic

The most widely used type of bartape finish is popular with the largest group of cyclists, especially gravels. The thickness of the bartape is 3 mm, and its perforations ensure a comfortable grip during long rides without unnecessary weight gain.

Soft

Durable perforated bartape, which Fizik supplies in 2 and 3-mm thicknesses. The finish is reminiscent of the classic leather texture. It is popular due to its appearance and smooth surface, allowing a great and secure grip in every position.

Microtex

This is the thinnest variant of the bartape, with a layer only 2 mm thick. It was created for maximum precision control of your bike.

Solocush

The most popular bartape design in the fizik range. The 2.7mm thickness is a great compromise for most road and gravelists. It is supremely comfortable and great for long rides.

Bondcush

The middle layer of the tape is made of polymer foam that provides extra cushioning from the ride's vibrations. Combined with the outer layer of Microtex, this bartape construction is the softest and most comfortable in the Fizik range and perfectly combines comfort, durability, and versatility. The thickness of the bartape with this construction is always 3 mm.
